Create an Agent User
Create an agent account with the right consultant link and commission setup.
Use agent for a person or organization that brings students. Agent setup affects attribution and commission tracking.
Workflow
Agent creation creates the relationship record. Commission tracking starts later, after approved attribution and course-fee payments.
- The consultant link shows who owns the agent relationship.
- Approval means the agent can be treated as active.
- Corporate agents may have a negotiated commission rate.
Fields
| Field | Meaning | What it affects |
|---|---|---|
| Agent type | Individual or corporate. | Commission policy and negotiated-rate rules. |
| Consultant | Consultant responsible for the agent. | Ownership, approval, and commission context. |
| Approval | Whether the agent can work now. | Whether the agent is active or still pending review. |
| Negotiated commission percentage | Special corporate rate. | Commission calculation for that agent. |
| Agent type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Individual | A person who refers or registers students. |
| Corporate | A company or organization with a negotiated relationship. |
Approval
An approved agent must have the correct consultant link.
Leave the agent pending if the consultant, agreement, or documents are not ready.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Agent exists but needs review. |
| Approved | Agent can be treated as active. Consultant link must be correct. |
| Rejected | Agent was reviewed and rejected. |
| Inactive | Agent was previously active but should no longer be used. |
Negotiated Commission Percentage
Use only when a corporate agent has an approved special rate. The rate must be between 25% and 30%.
Leave this blank when the agent uses the normal commission policy.
Student And Finance Impact
Linked students create attribution. Later course-fee payments may create commission records. Registration fees do not create commission earnings.

| Adding negotiated rate without agreement | Commission calculation may not match policy. |
| Forgetting agent attribution on students | Course-fee payments may not create the expected agent commission. |
